Alimentos ecológicos: también llamados orgánicos, biológicos o bio, son aquellos que se obtienen sin la utilización de productos químicos y respetando el medio ambiente.
Vino ecológico: para que un vino sea considerado ecológico, en el cultivo de la vid los campos han de ser abonados sólo con abonos orgánicos naturales y no minerales. En la conservación y embotellado del vino no se pueden usar tratamientos, así como también quedan prohibidos los antisépticos y los antioxidantes.
Disponemos de vino tinto, rosado, fino, blanco y dulce procedentes de Andalucía, Castilla la Mancha, Extremadura, Castilla y León y de Navarra.
Aceite de oliva virgen extra ecológico: es el zumo de la oliva o aceituna cultivada sin utilizar productos químicos. Existen distintos tipos de oliva o aceituna, dando lugar a aceites con distintas características en función de la oliva o aceituna de la que proceden. Las variedades más comunes son la hojiblanca, arbequina, picual, cornicabra y marteña, existiendo algunas variedades autóctonas como la de Sierra de Espadán.
Jamones y embutidos: se elaboran a partir de cerdos alimentados con productos naturales, es decir, proceden de ganadería ecológica, además en su elaboración, tanto la sal del jamón que es natural 100% como los aliños de los embutidos, proceden de agricultura ecológica. Otra característica es que su elaboración se realiza de forma artesanal.
Quesos ecológicos: son los elaborados a partir de leche, tanto de vaca como de cabra u oveja, procedente de animales criados según la normativa europea sobre ganadería ecológica. Además no se les pueden añadir aditivos ni conservantes no autorizados y su proceso de elaboración ha de seguir unos parámetros determinados.
Frutas y verduras: Los productos ecológicos vegetales respetan los ciclos naturales de los cultivos, evitando la degradación de los ecosistemas. Al no agotar los suelos, no es necesario un abono químico que los contamine. Algunas prácticas favorecen el equilibrio natural: rotación de cultivos, asociación, abono verde, setos… De este modo se potencia la fertilidad natural de los suelos y la capacidad productiva del sistema agrario. Los productos ecológicos se obtienen reciclando los nutrientes y elaborando compost, que se devuelve de nuevo al suelo.
Los productos orgánicos no incorporan sustancias o residuos que puedan ser perjudiciales para la salud humana o mermen su capacidad nutritiva, como pesticidas, herbicidas o insecticidas. No es imprescindible para conseguir fruta y verdura de calidad añadir sustancias de síntesis durante el cultivo o la conservación.
Carne ecológica: es la obtenida dando a los animales una alimentación natural y un bienestar cumpliendo la normativa europea sobre la cría del ganado ecológico. A los animales se les garantiza la luz natural, suficiente espacio para el libre movimiento y áreas de reposo.
La carne ecológica no procederá en ningún caso de animales que se hayan alimentado con productos de origen animal (a excepción de productos lácteos y harina de pescado), ni con estimuladores del crecimiento y/o apetito, urea u otras sustancias nocivas. Todos los animales habrán tenido, además, una lactancia natural adecuada. También se rechazan técnicas de sincronización del celo no naturales, la transferencia de embriones y la manipulación genética.
Conservas vegetales: son conservas en las que sólo se utilizan productos procedentes de la agricultura ecológica y en las que no se utilizan conservantes ni colorantes.
Algas y mariscos: procedentes del mar.
Pastas y sopas: La pasta ecológica es pasta cuyo trigo no se ha tratado con ningún producto químico como fungicidas o pesticidas, y cuyos campos de cultivo están lejos de fuentes importantes de contaminación.
Arroces y legumbres: el arroz ecológico ha sido cultivado, elaborado y envasado, sin el uso de ningún producto de síntesis química. Entre nuestra gran variedad podemos encontrar arroz redondo o largo, integral o no, arroz jazmín, basmati y basmati integral y entre las legumbres tenemos alubia blanca, negra, pinta y roja, garbanzos, lentejas, saja verde y soja blanca.
Huevos ecológicos: Huevos de gallinas criadas al aire libre y alimentadas de forma natural.
Mermeladas y patés: Las mermeladas ecológicas destacan por su excelente sabor y delicada textura, los cuales son el resultado de una perfecta combinación de los ingredientes más selectos de cultivos de agricultura ecológica.
Ropa ecológica: fabricada con algodón o bambú procedente de cultivo ecológico y con tintes al agua para mayor respeto al medio ambiente. La mayor parte del algodón con el que se hacen estas prendas provienen de países subdesarrollados, por lo que además del certificado ecológico, también poseen el certificado de comercio justo, que garantiza que los trabajadores reciben un salario justo por su trabajo.
Todo para el Bebé: alimentos elaborados con productos procedentes de agricultura ecológica como leche, potitos de fruta, cereales y verdura y zumos.
Productos de higiene para su bebé entre los que encontramos pañales, cremas y geles y champú.
